These two-sided A4 content cards are designed to help those new to a Dojo; they give young people a simple task to complete. The printable nature means that they can be easier for younger children to use beside a laptop, especially if they struggle with managing a laptop with multiple tabs or a split screen.
The content cards below include:
- Scratch: make hippos fly
The young person is shown how to move a sprite using a simple script, including changing its costume, adding a background, and duplicating a sprite.
- HTML: make a zoo website
Learn how to add images, create and link new webpages, add text, and change the background colour all in HTML.
- Micro:bit: make a crowd display (using MakeCode blocks)
Use basic and radio blocks to create and display images on one or across multiple micro:bits.
- Micro:bit: make a crowd display (using Python)
Use Python code to create and display images on one or across multiple micro:bits.

Thank you! I've used Flying Hippos in the past and found it a good (non-intimidating) starting point for first timers - especially those who are really new and/or young. I can't wait to try the rest of these too!
