CoderDojo is an accessible movement and anyone, anywhere, can start a Dojo provided they agree to the terms laid out in our charter. Many Dojos around the world have been started by young people under aged 18—we refer to these awesome community members as youth champions.
Most youth champions start Dojos at their school or place of learning. For champions aged 18 and under, we usually ask that an adult (such as a parent, guardian or teacher) is available to help out with running the Dojo.
If you, or a young person you know, is already running an informal coding club for their friends, then why not register as a Dojo and get free support and resources from us? You can find more information in this easy-to-share flyer, attached below.
