The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) were enacted in EU law on 25 May 2018. All Dojos collect some form of data on their members, such as names, telephone numbers, email addresses, and sometimes more sensitive information such as religion, ethnicity, and disabilities. Therefore, it is important that the adults in your Dojo are aware of the new rules and how to comply with them effectively.
The attached document covers your responsibilities as a Dojo champion, data protection principles, and a list of dos and don’ts to help your Dojo comply with the GDPR.
