We host regular community calls for Dojo champions and mentors, where new and existing community members connect and learn from one another. We mainly host two types of calls:
Open community calls
About once a month we run an open community call, so that members of the CoderDojo Foundation and other community members can share and discuss the latest community updates and resources, ask for feedback, and more.
Everyone involved with CoderDojo around the world is invited to join, listen in, share their insights, and ask questions!
Starting a Dojo orientation calls
The CoderDojo Foundation hosts an orientation call about once every six weeks. This call is tailored to new champions, and to people who are interested in starting a Dojo. Mentors and volunteers are also welcome to participate and gather tips for their own Dojos.
On orientation calls, we cover frequently asked questions related to starting a Dojo. We also share news, useful tips, and helpful resources for new community members. If you are an existing community member, you can also join this call to brush up on your CoderDojo knowledge!
How to join a call
To find out when the next call is happening, check our community calendar here. You’ll find instructions on how to join a call on the event listing page and also on the CoderDojo Twitter. For orientation calls, we will also send an invitation email to all new champions.
