We host regular Community Calls for new champions and mentors. These are an opportunity to for new and existing community members to connect and learn from one another. We host two main calls on rotation, as outlined below.
Open Community Calls
Approximately once a month we run an Open Community Call. During the call, members of the CoderDojo Foundation and other community members discuss and share the latest community updates, new resources, ask for feedback and more.
All those involved with CoderDojo around the world are invited to join, listen in, share their insights and ask questions!
Starting a Dojo Orientation Calls
The CoderDojo Foundation hosts an Orientation Call approximately once every six weeks. This call is tailored towards new champions, or those who are interested in starting a Dojo in the future. Mentors and volunteers are also welcome to participate and gather tips for their own Dojos.
On Orientation Calls, we mainly cover frequently asked questions relating to starting a Dojo. We also share news, useful tips and helpful resources for new community members. If you are an existing community member, you may also join this call to brush up on your CoderDojo knowledge!
How to join a call
To find out when the next call is happening, check our Community Calendar here. Instructions will be available on how to join a call on calendar event listing and also on the CoderDojo Twitter page. For Orientation Calls, we will also send an invitation email to all new champions.
